Local Green Stuff Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) constitute a binding agreement between you and Local Green Stuff (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing, using, or registering with our website or services (“Platform”), you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not accept these Terms, you must discontinue your use of the Platform.

1.3 “User” refers to any individual or entity accessing or using the Platform.

1.4 “Seller” refers to any User who lists products or services for sale on the Platform.

1.5 “Buyer” refers to any User who purchases products or services
through the Platform.

1.6 “Product” means any item or service listed for sale on the Platform.

2. Our Role and Contract

    

2.1 Local Green Stuff provides an online marketplace and directory for Sellers and Buyers to connect and transact.

2.2 We are neither the buyer nor seller of any Product listed on the Platform. We act solely as an intermediary to facilitate transactions.

2.3 Contracts for the purchase of Products are strictly between Buyers and Sellers. We are not a party to these contracts.

2.4 Sellers may impose their own terms and conditions, which will form part of their agreement with Buyers.

3. Use of the Platform

3.1 Eligibility: Users must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding contracts.

3.2 Account Registration: Users must provide accurate, up-to-date information when registering an account and keep login details secure.

3.3 Prohibited Activities: Users may not:

• Engage in unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful activities.
• Post offensive, misleading, or infringing Content.
• Use the Platform for unauthorized commercial purposes or to distribute spam.

4. Sellers

4.1 Seller Terms: Sellers must comply with the separate Seller Terms of Service, which govern listing, payment, and communication responsibilities.

4.2 Prohibited Listings: Sellers may not list Products that are illegal, unsafe, or contrary to Local Green Stuff’s mission of promoting sustainability and local trade.

4.3 Accuracy of Listings: Sellers must ensure that their listings are accurate, truthful, and comply with all applicable laws.

4.4 Disputes: Sellers are responsible for resolving disputes with Buyers in good faith.

5. Buyers

    

5.1 Purchases: Buyers enter into a direct contract with Sellers when purchasing Products.

5.2 Payment: Payments are processed through our secure payment provider, Stripe. Buyers must comply with Stripe’s terms and conditions.

5.3 Returns and Refunds: Buyers must adhere to the return and refund policies provided by Sellers or applicable law.

6. Payments and Fees

    

6.1 All payments on the Platform are processed securely through Stripe. Local Green Stuff does not directly handle payment information.

6.2 Sellers are responsible for Stripe transaction fees and any other fees disclosed during account registration or use of the Platform.

6.3 Local Green Stuff may charge subscription fees or service charges for certain features, which will be clearly communicated.

7. Content and Intellectual Property

7.1 User-Generated Content: By posting Content on the Platform, you grant Local Green Stuff a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, and distribute the Content for promotional and marketing purposes.

7.2 Intellectual Property: Users retain ownership of their Content but warrant that they have the rights to use and share it.

7.3 Platform Ownership: All intellectual property on the Platform, including logos, designs, and software, is owned or licensed by Local Green Stuff. Users may not copy, reproduce, or distribute Platform materials without authorization.

8. Privacy

8.1 Our collection and use of personal data are governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

8.2 By using the Platform, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Liability and Disclaimers

9.1 Local Green Stuff is not liable for disputes, damages, or losses arising from transactions between Buyers and Sellers.

9.2 The Platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.

9.3 We are not responsible for any interruption, error, or inaccuracy on the Platform, nor for the actions of other Users.

10. User Responsibilities

10.1 Users must comply with applicable laws and ensure the accuracy of information provided on the Platform.

10.2 Users may not upload malicious software, impersonate others, or misuse the Platform in any way.

10.3 Any breach of these Terms may result in suspension or termination of your account.

11. Termination

11.1 Local Green Stuff reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms or activities that harm the Platform’s integrity.

11.2 Users may terminate their accounts at any time by contacting customer support or using account settings.

12. Disputes

12.1 Local Green Stuff is not responsible for resolving disputes between Buyers and Sellers but may assist in mediating issues at our discretion.

12.2 Users agree to attempt mediation before pursuing legal action.

13. Amendments

13.1 Local Green Stuff may update these Terms at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes, and continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law
